This black text sure is mysterious. I bet I fooled 'em all! But wait, if this is being read, then obviously I failed to do so! I must say, though, that this was a pretty mysterious presentation. Anyway, this quote comes from Iron Chef, and more particularly, the photographer who sometimes judges the food. (Quite often actually, along with the culinary critic.) Now, the culinary critic makes sense to judge food. But what about a photographer? Why is he constantly called upon? He also acts like he knows everything about cooking, but of course, he really doesn't make much sense. Translation could have something to do with it. His translator talks really slowly in an incredibly pompous voice, so it sounds like the photographer is very arrogant. But despite only being a photographer, everyone else seems to respect him enormously. This specific quote comes after a young challenger, Kentaro, has offered all his dishes to the panel of the judges. To sum up their comments, the photographer states, "He should be a bit more mysterious in his presentation. That's one aspect he could work on." Everyone nods their heads in agreement, as if they know what he's talking about. But I bet they don't, 'cause it just doesn't make sense. How is a chef supposed to be more MYSTERIOUS in his presentation? And more importantly, how are the Iron Chefs more mysterious? They're not! But they don't get this comment for some unknown reason. Perhaps the photographer expects his food to be served by people wearing capes and/or masks, and all the ingredients to be unidentifiable. I didn't think the latter was a good thing.
Good hunting, everyone. Mwahaha! Okay, so it actually isn't hard to find. I thought making people highlight the above hidden text would be tricky! Hey. I just gave it away. Oh well, not as if anyone couldn't find it, right?
This quote is an enigma. A puzzle, that only the best can solve. Note that the following is to be interpreted in a slow and incredibly pompous way. As in cooking, I believe quotes should be a bit more mysterious in presentation. That is one aspect I have tried to work on with this offering. To this end of being mysterious, I am typing this while wearing a cape and a mask. Also, I have HIDDEN the quote's story somewhere on this page. To have the quote explained, you will have to find it first. Mwhahahaha! (Insert mysterioso laughter here...)
