This is yet another quote that originates from a commercial on TV, one that is overall, very confusing. I'm still not quite sure what the advertisement means, and that's even after calling on a panel of..err..experts..to help me decipher its meaning. But enough on this bamboozling mystery; I'll simply state the facts, as I understand them. In the aforementioned commercial, two cowboys are sitting down at a table in Lone Star, and one says, "Bars aren't just how having fun, it's about having a good time!" After this genius and preceptive statement, the other cowboy has no choice but to respond with a loud, and very unclear, "My foot!" At least, that's what he could've said. It's very difficult to tell, as both cowboys have outrageous Aussie accents (Go figure) and sort of slur their words into a bunch of meaningless mumbo-jumbo-jibber-jabba'. It's quite possible that the second cowboy actually said something akin to, "My Hat!" or "My food!" but that still makes it no less ridiculous.
To avoid sidetracking onto a tangent discussing the limitless capibilities for idiocy presented by advertisers, I'll finish relating the story of this quote. After the above scene, it cuts to a scene where the two cowboys are walking away from Lone Star. The first cowboy says, "And they're [Lone Star] open for lunch and dinner!" To which the other Aussie cowboy immiediately responds, "My foot!" once more. What it means, I cannot tell. Suffice to say that I still found it amusing enough to put up as a quote of the week. If anyone knows the true meaning behind this puzzle, I'd be pleased to know it. And no, the statement that the cowboys are both crazy foo's, although admitedly true, is not a valid option. ;)
