But let's kick it up a notch. That expression is okay the first time, but what about six times in the SAME SHOW?! I'm told that's happened before on numerous occaisons. And Emeril also has other commercials where he talks about what the next Emerilism will be. ARGGH! Now he thinks he's some sort of linguist! He's invented a new word! This man must be stopped. Who knows what his next 'trendy' Emerilism will be? He says we have to watch the show to find out. No thanks, I'd rather not know. Though I expect I'll find out somehow anyway. It could be something as bad as 'BOOM!'. Then he'd be 'BAM BOOM!'ing all over the place. I think it's time for Chen Kenichi to bring out those cleavers...
BAM! This quote is just an excuse to complain about Emeril Live. Well, not really complain; I'd rather just mock it. It all started the other night when I was watching IRON CHEF (a quality program, unlike the subject of this quote) on the food network, when suddenly a commercial came up for Emeril Live. Now I've never seen the show, but the commercial just struck me as annoyingly funny. Emeril walks into this guy's house and says he's going to cook. But he doesn't! All he does is say 'BAM!' a whole bunch of times. So instead of getting a meal of quesitonable quality, the guy merely gets lesson on how to properly say 'BAM!', as taught by an expert. I'd like to see Emeril go up against one of the IRON CHEFS. Even Iron Chef Japanese could fry him with those blowtorches. Emeril's only weapons are his bad accent, his stupid expressions and his obnoxious personality. Actually, Emeril's probably not all that bad, but I'm just offended that his show is apparently more popular than IRON CHEF.
