Drop it!

Part man. Part machine. All cop. This quote comes directly from the mouth of the world's greatest policing force. Sure, some may claim that Robocop isn't much of a hero, simply because he cannot fly. Of course, there's no rule saying that you have to be able to fly to be a hero. And let's not forget that Robocop is a paradigm of law enforcement. He's out there on the streets everyday, walking his beat and doing all he can to reduce crime. At this point, some may raise the idea that he's just a cop that's a bit more shiny, who is more concerned with donuts than the law. This is simply not true! Robocop is ALL ABOUT the law! He's willing to sacrifice his donut break anyday if it means he can book a few more criminals. That's the definition of a real hero! He never gives up, never complains and just fights crime, without ever forgetting the prime directive. And he supports Tortzelli*. You should too.

Ahem. This whole quote springs from one of our most recent role-playing adventures. All the characters in this game were superheroes, and Robocop was one of them. Yes, one of the other characters tried to claim that Robocop was no hero because of his lack of the ability to fly. Because, as this website has already proven, that would solve ALL of life's problems. In any case, Robocop was a great character with several potent special moves. The most memorable of these was the Drop it!. No one can argue with Robocop's authority. In fact, criminals would always obey his command before realising what they were doing. This meant that his enemies would always drop their weapons, and have to spend time picking them up again before they could attack. Robocop had another excellent special move for dealing with annonymous thugs. This one was taught to him by his partner, a man by the name of Mitchell. I believe I've mentioned Mitchell before on this website, probably in connection with MST3K. In any case, despite resembling a small-mouth bass, Mitchell was actually a 'highly competent' police officer. Of course, he did have several strange habits, such as his habit of shooting people in the leg to find out their names and his strange reliance on weird yellow things. It is the former which he taught to Robocop. It allows him to fire at people incredibly quickly to find out their names. With this move and his Drop it!, Robocop was truly an expert at putting crime where it belonged: Behind bars.
