There's a What in his What?

As most of you can guess, this is an Inspector Clueseau quote. The accent is rather difficult to emulate when written out, but I don't think I did a shoddy job. Well, not overly much so. Using a Universal Translator, this quote's true meaning can be heard: "There's a bomb in my room!" During one of the Pink Panther movies, though I can't remember which, Clueseau utters these lines to a hotel manager. The manager, of course, can hardly comprehend a word of it. This is pretty typical, though, for the good Inspector. When at last the hotel manager comprehends, meaning the bomb exploded in Clouseau's room, he says, "Oh! There was a BOMB in your ROOM!" in that irritating, 'why-didn't-you-say-so' voice we all know so well. To this, the Inspector replies, "That's what I said, you fooel!"

Ah, but Clueseau is great. Truly he's the best. Or more the worst. Him and Lamayo about bottom out the detective pool, neither one being a match for the cutting edge of detection, Rockford and Moirot. There's another great scene in one of the Pink Panther movies, wherein Clueseau is questioning everyone in a house. He walks up to a fellow wearing one of those spiffy beekeeper hats, and says, "So, you're the gardener?" To this, the man in the funky hat replies, "No, I'm the beekeeper." Naturally, not wanting to show his mistake, or perhaps not realising he had made one, Clueseau puts up a big arguement about it. Then, later on, he says, "This is a very suspicious affair; a very suspicious house. We have a gardener who thinks he is a beekeeper.." and so forth. But I remember no more.
